What a busy week this has been! Saturday was my antique barn sale. Monday afternoon, I put in over 1000 spring bulbs (actually I think it was closer to 1500), and of course I had to get the yard Halloween ready for the little trick-or-treaters.
Let me take you around and show you the decor that I put out. But first, I want to thank everyone who came out, near and far, to my sale! We had a lot of fun, didn't we? I very special thank-you to my sister, Kelli, and my friend, Joell, who came all the way from down state to help me for the day. And of course to my husband, Karl, who did all the hauling!
This spooky jack-o-lantern is made of concrete. No carving needed!
The impatiens planted in my bicycle basket died by frost so they had to be dumped in the compost pile. But just in time to fill it with pumpkins, gourds, and Bittersweet.
They were all homegrown. Some by me, and some are from my aunt and uncle's garden.
My old, wooden wheelbarrow makes the perfect fall display.
